Ovation Academy of Music

Sean Dostal received his Master of Music degree from the University of Minnesota in 2014 and has been active in the Twin Cities and wider Midwest area as an orchestral violist ever since. Sean currently serves as Principal Viola of the La Crosse Symphony, and plays regularly with the South Dakota Symphony and Orchestra Iowa. Sean has also played numerous performances with local groups around the Twin Cities, in particular with his string quartet, the Kingsley Chamber Players.

 

In addition to playing the viola, Sean is an active violin, viola and piano instructor in the Twin Cities.  He also enjoys a diverse musical career as Personnel Manager and Music Librarian of the La Crosse Symphony, and Rehearsal Assistant for the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.  In his spare time Sean enjoys playing the piano and arranging music for string quartet.
