Jonathan has been passionate about music (especially, violin and piano) since the age of six. He has been awarded numerous state and national awards by the Minnesota Music Teachers Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs. He is a multi-year MMTA State Piano Contest winner and has won first place in MMTA String competitions of Junior young artist, Senior young artist, and College young artist levels. Also, he has received 12 years of consecutive superior ratings and is the first in the state to be awarded two Presidential Music Gold Cups from the National Federation of Music Clubs in both piano and violin.
Jonathan has 9 years of leadership experience as the concert master of his school's orchestra (from Grade 4 to 12). In addition, he has been a member of All State Orchestra and Suburban Eastern Conference Orchestra. Jonathan is eager to share his passion and knowledge of music with others, and aspires to help students of all ages learn, appreciate and enjoy music. He welcomes opportunities to teach students violin, piano and music theory.
